Grievance Redressal Committee Policy
As per the AICTE direction (No. F. No. AICTE/PG/2012/20/SRO/06/1363, dated 25th July 2012) and as per the AICTE (Establishment of Mechanism for Grievance Redressal) Regulations, 2012 vide notification F. No. 37-3/Legal/2012, dated 25.05.2012, the Governing Body (GB), KSRIET constituted Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) with the objective of resolving the grievances of students and their parents.
Grievance Redressal Committee provides solution for
- Students’ discomfort
- Excess money collection
- Alleged discrimination
- Scholarship issues
- Withholding student amenities
- Non transparent evaluation process
- Sexual harassment
Appropriate guidelines have been framed by the Committee to understand the needs of students and to provide solution for students’ discomforts. The Committee Members meet all the students’ class wise and explain the guidelines to be followed by them. The Committee regularly monitors the effective implementation of guidelines. The Committee periodically organizes an awareness programme on the functions of the Grievance Redressal Committee.
Grievance Redressal Committee functions with Online and Offline team of members to provide immediate solution to their issues if any. Besides, the Institute has appointed a Psychology Counselor as a Part-Time Staff. Hence, the students can register their grievances either through Online Web Portal or directly to the Committee Members. The grievances registered in Online Web Portal are immediately responded by the respective members and proper solutions are given by meeting the students.
