Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in KSR Institute for Engineering and Technology actively conducts alumni meet for the young minds of department who are very keen in entering into their dream companies.
Mr. ManojKumar C A (2011 – 2015 Batch) who is an embedded engineer from Honeywell aerospace spend very good time with us and strengthened the students mind under the topic of “Recent trends and opportunities in embedded system”. We all met via Zoom meeting app on 05/06/2020.

"IMPORTANCE OF PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE"
During the quarantine period the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering on the behalf of KSR Institute for Engineering and Technology took the greater effort to make the students quarantine vacation the useful and knowledgeable one by conducting Alumni Webinar series. On 30/05/2020(Saturday) arranged for an online webinar under the topic of “Importance of programming language”. The information about the webinar was passed to every student beforehand by the respective placement coordinators. Mr.Gokulraj M who is a lab leader at IVTL-Infoview Technology Pvt ltd took charge as a speaker.
Workshop on MULTISIM
We had conducted “Workshop on MULTISIM” on 06th September 2019 for the students from departments of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Purpose of the workshop is to improve the knowledge on simulation software. Many students had participated and awarded with certificates from various colleges.
BEES - Association inauguration
BEES association’s 8th inaugural function was organized on 2nd august 2019. The chief guest Mr.T.Prabakaran, Regional Manager (India),Live Wire, Chennai delivered guest lecture on the topic “Latest Industrial Trends” . he provided various statistical data regarding the employment opportunities available across the globe. The students of electrical department found his lecture to be informative and useful.
IDEA Contest was organized by IEI Students Chapter EEE on 2nd august 2019. Totally 16 batches of 55 EEE students were participated. This contest brings out various ideas for product design. This contest also creates awareness of recent technologies and problem identification from social needs. According to Idea’s suggestions for improvements are discussed.
Beat others brains:Quiz
The Bees Association conducted quiz contest on the name of BEAT OTHERS BRAIN which is testing their general knowledge about the past and the current affairs of the world.
The “BEES” association has been inaugurated on 6th September, 2018 for the academic year of 2018-19 by the chief guest Dr.P.Krishnamoorthy, M.E, Ph.D, Senior Scientist, Philips Research India,Bangalore.
An inter department circuit debugging event was conducted in which several students participated and showed their technical skills.
To motivate the students in developing the new ideas “IDEA CONTEST”, an intra department mini project show cum exhibition was organized. Second, third and final year students displayed and demonstrated their ideas in various fields of electrical engineering
