MERF Talk is one of the forum activity comes under Mechanical Engineers Research Forum (MERF) which helps the students and faculty to get to know about  recent technology and share their idea among other students. By this seminar others get to know about the functions and the working of hybrid vehicle that going to take over other vehicle. By using parallel hybrid vehicle the fuel consumption will get low since both electric motor and an internal combustion engine are coupled. To give an extant dimension to our account, we are now proceeding to analyse the visual communication of an American automotive company producing exclusively electric vehicles that recently enjoyed considerable hype: Tesla Motors.

 Brief about the Program:

Centre for project and development is a platform to do the student projects in a proper way. The event Archimedes award is initiated to create a curiosity among students to solve some social problem. In this year the contest is themed as “Solution for water scarcity in India”. In this contest 35 students are participated and 17 different ideas like Artificial Intelligence, using Algae to store water, water purification and condensation of water from air are presented. Among these ideas a better solution provided by III year Electrical and Electronics engineering student C. Dinesh suggested an system using algae to store the water is identified as best solution. He was awarded Rs 1000 as cash prize and honoured by Archimedes award 2019 in the year. The principal and Head of the Departments are wish the winner to implement the ideas and make it as a real time application.

CENSER is one of the Centre of excellence comes under Mechanical Engineering which helps the students to improve their knowledge for organizing and also participate various competition, guest lecture, paper presentation and workshop. Quiz competitions enables students to think from different angles or simply ‘to think out of the box’. It promotes a healthy debate amongst participants in order to learn from each other. This competition is used to get the knowledge about recent trends and technology about renewable energy.
