About the Department
The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest engineering discipline that has come up with a numerous astounding developments required to meet the ever-growing industry and market demand. Keeping itself up to date with the latest developments and trends in the field and with a dedicated faculty of highly qualified and experienced members in all streams of mechanical engineering, the department consistently strives to provide world class facilities for education and research. The strength of this department is the highly qualified and motivated faculty. An interactive relationship is maintained between the students and staff which enable the students to develop a sound foundation in the stream in a conductive environment. Our goal is to make our students explore the existing trends and emerge as a competent professional with multi-talented skills to achieve his ambition. This focus has enabled us to serve our graduates well in finding employment and helping them achieve their professional goals in the industry.
The calibration facilities developed by the department are in accordance with the National Standards for calibration of pressure, temperature and speed measurement.
